Most baffle strikes are caused by poorly threaded barrels, defective or not properly mounted quick attach systems or abusive fire schedules. Strikes are rare but they can happen.Sometimes pistol cans can walk off and end up ever so slightly out of alignment causeing an endcap or baffle strike. Iff it happens with the can tightened all the way down you got other issues. The best preventive solution is to just sure the can is always tightened down.
